We provide 99.9% uptime SLA for enterprise plans. Service credits available for verified downtime.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Veriscopia's services, APIs, SDKs, or any associated software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Veriscopia Inc. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, applicable laws, and industry regulations. Our services are designed for legitimate identity verification and fraud prevention.

Prohibited Uses

Identity fraud, impersonation, or synthetic identity generation
Bypassing security controls or attempting unauthorized access
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code
Mass verification without proper consent or legal basis
Violating data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Distributing malicious code or conducting attacks
High-risk activities without additional due diligence

Compliance Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring your use of our services complies with all applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and local identity verification regulations. Conduct proper due diligence for high-risk use cases.

3. API Usage & Security

Your use of our API is subject to rate limits and usage quotas as specified in your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify these limits with 30 days notice for business or technical reasons.

You must keep your API keys, credentials, and access tokens secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including any charges incurred. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.

  • • Monitor your usage and set up alerts for approaching limits

4. Service Level Agreement

We provide a 99.9% uptime Service Level Agreement for all enterprise plans. Service credits are available for verified downtime exceeding the SLA thresholds.

We continuously monitor and maintain our infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated at least 72 hours in advance.

5. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have proper legal basis and necessary consents for the identity verification activities you conduct.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. Data is processed in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant privacy frameworks.

Privacy by Design

Our architecture incorporates privacy-preserving technologies including zero-knowledge proofs and data minimization principles to protect individual privacy while enabling secure verification.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veriscopia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Veriscopia in the six months preceding the claim.

Important Notice

Identity verification involves probabilistic outcomes. While we strive for high accuracy, no system is infallible. You are responsible for conducting additional due diligence for high-stakes verifications.
